Hello friends, here's some interesting little nuggets of information I've stumbled across today:
-Todd Phillips, director of The Hangover and Hangover 2 has said he has a loose idea for a third and final Hangover and it's a new concept that no one has really seen before.
-Fans of How I Met Your Mother who were left wanting more after the season finale aka MYSELF, TIM...should be delighted to know season 7 is going to be one for the ages with a lot of big things in store for our gang. The creators promise that the November sweeps episodes are going to be game changers for the show...I can't wait!
-Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell are set to team up again in a turkey football comedy movie scheduled for release in either 2012/2013.
-Conan O'Brien is set to hit the road next season to film some of his late night talk show episodes with stops in both NYC and Chicago.
-A brand new Lady Gaga documentary is set to hit MTV on Thursday May 26th.
-Titanic is coming back to the big screen in state of the art 3D it was announced today...the film is set to set sail April 6, 2012 to coincide with the 100 year anniversary of the ships sinking.
-Armie Hammer (Social Network, twin) is set to join Johnny Depp in the film The Lone Ranger.

Here's what's making news today:
-A script for a fifth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean has already been turned in to Disney.
-Fox has acquired the rights to distribute Taken 2, starring Liam Neeson.
-MTV's Teen Mom has been renewed for a third and fourth season. The third season featuring the original girls is set to premiere this July.
-Fergus and Ostby the writers behind Iron Man and the upcoming Cowboys and Aliens are going to tackle the Tomb Raider reboot.
-Katie Couric is getting closer to a deal with ABC.

-Kate Beckinsale according to reports has been offered the role in Total Recall.
-Lindsay Lohan has signed on to act or whatever she calls it she does, in two mob movies.
-The Black Eyed Peas are going to guest star on an episode of America's Best Dance Crew this season.

-Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling and Josh Brolin are rumored to be starring in Gangster Squad.

It's almost time for the weekend, and I can't wait but until then, here's a look at what's making news today:
-Jersey Shore Spinoffs anyone? Oh yeah!!! Snooki and J-Woww are getting their own show as it will follow the two of them after summer has ended, while Pauly D the man himself will be getting his own show as well, each series will be 12 episodes long and will air in 2012.
-Bob's Burgers has been renewed by FOX for a second season.
-Rob Riggle is set to play the villain in the 21 Jump Street moving starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum.
-Rise of the Planet of the Apes starring James Franco and John Lithgow is set for release August 5th.
-Tina Fey has revealed that she is pregnant on a recent taping of Oprah.
-JJ Abrams the man behind Lost, Fringe and Star Trek is reportedly publishing a novel in Fall 2012, mystery to what it is about.

Some Thursday Entertainment Dish...
Hey guys,
I'm going to try and make this a daily thing on the blog; so the 'Daily Dish' is always going to have the biggest news items of the day, so here's what we got for Thursday:
-Eliza Dushku has joined Damon Wayans at a pilot on CBS for the fall season.
-Ed Harris has signed on to play John McCain in HBO's Game Changer also starring Julianne Moore whose playing Sarah Palin.
-Futurama has been renewed for 2 more years by Comedy Central. This will keep the show on the air through 2013.
-A PG-13 version of Best Picture Winner- The King's Speech will be hitting theaters April 1st.
-JERSEY SHORE scoop- There are going to be two spin-offs involving some of my personal favorite cast members including a Pauly D spin-off and a JWOWW/Snooki spin-off also. Air dates are TBA, but stay tuned to the blog for any updates surrounding our J-Shore cast mates.
-The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (yes I know the first one hasn't even come out yet) has already hired a writer to start penning a sequel to next July's highly anticipated release.
-FX has canceled their boxing drama 'Lights Out.' Saying there will be no second season of the show.
