-Seeking a Friend for the End of the World starring Steve Carell and Keira Knightly has gotten a distributor and is scheduled to start filming later this month.

-Nintendo has confirmed that they will have a new game console out in 2012.
-Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 will have it's first trailer out this Wednesday.
-The Avengers film starts filming this week!
-Paula Abdul and Cheryl Crow are rumored to be joining the X-Factor judging panel this week says reports.
-Justin Timberlake has been confirmed as the host for the season finale of SNL in May.

Hello everyone, lots of things making news today, so here's the low down:
-NBC has decided to send Steve Carell off big. The Office will be a supersized episode on April 28th, Michael Scott's last show.
-Also that night Parks and Rec will receive an extended episode as well.
-Michael Shannon has been cast as General Zod in the upcoming Superman Man of Steel. Shannon's credits include Revolutionary Road and most recently- Boardwalk Empire.
-Liam Neeson's cameo from The Hangover Part 2 has been cut.
-Call of Duty Black Ops Escalation is coming out May 3rd.
-Tobey Maguire has been cast in the upcoming movie The Life of Pi.
-Josh Pence has joined the cast of The Dark Knight Rises, playing Ra's al Guhl but only in flashbacks...
-Producers of American Idol say Pia (the most recent kicked off contestant) was never a front-runner on the show contrary to popular belief.

-Katie Couric is reportedly set to leave CBS Evening News and start her own syndicated talk show in 2012 on an unknown network, says reports.
-Jaden Smith and his father Will Smith are set to star in a sci-fi film from director M. Night Shyamalan; film is set to be set 1,000 years in the future.
-Arnold Schwarzenegger's 'The Governator' is set to become a 3-D film also in addition to the comic book series, the film is set to be out in 2013.
-Taylor Swift took home Entertainer of the Year at last night's ACM Awards, with Miranda Lambert taking home several awards along with Lady Antebellum.

Box Office Recap- Wimpy Kids knocked out Suckerpunch taking in 24 million to Sucker's 19 million.
Price is Right host Drew Cary; along with Julie Chen and Holly Robinson Peete from CBS talk show 'The Talk' are switching roles this April for a crossover event.
James Franco and Mila Kunis have signed on for Oz, the great and powerful; Robert Downey Jr was attached to the project for a while but left it.
Armie Hammer (Social Network) has been cast as Prince Andrew Alcott in the untitled Snow White feature also starring Julia Roberts
Will Sasso (Mad TV) has been cast as Curly in the upcoming three stooges movie from the Farrelly brothers; no other casting has been announced.
The Smurfs Movie has been moved to july 29th; up a few days.
Viggo Mortensen has withdrawn his name from another snow white project entitled; Snow White and the Huntsman, now rumors circulate that Mortensen might be joining the new Zach Snyder superman movie playing the films villain General Zod.
In other Superman: Man of Steel news; Amy Adams has been cast as Lois Lane and reports are circulating that production of the highly anticipated film is coming to Illinois. Where you may ask? Plano, Illinois.
Tom Hanks has been rumored to be making a guest appearance on an upcoming episode of 30 Rock.
